The Allen Stewart PC team announces the availability of its legal services to car owners who are victims of faulty odometer readings.
When you buy a used car, have your odometer reading example inspected. If your odometer is manipulated, the miles are reset by nearly 40,000 miles. If your odometer shows fewer miles, it could be a tampering problem.
You can check mileage from the receipts and inspection stickers and compare it with an odometer reading. Inspection stickers are found on door frames or windows.
Look for the missing screws on or near the dashboard. If the dashboard is not completely put together, the odometer may have been tampered with. Fraud is when the actual number is 130,000, and the meter shows 30,000 miles.
According to the Allen Stewart Team – "our commitment and our passion are reflected in our track record: Our individual lawyers have collectively amassed an impressive list of honors and respects."
As you use the car, you will quickly start to wear out the pedals, and the area around the driver may be in bad shape. But car mileage is low; the odometer has been tampered with.

Check for physical signs of odometer tampering. Inspect the odometer to see that there are no gaps between readable numbers, and the numbers don't look crooked. Any of those signs point to a probability that the odometer was rolled back.
You can request a vehicle history report to check for odometer anomalies in vehicle history. If the seller does not have a report, use the car's VIN to order a vehicle history report online. If you suspect fraud, contact Allen Stewart, the specialist attorney.
You may also ask for the Odometer disclosure statement TN in case you are buying a pre-owned vehicle. Federal laws require this statement on older cars. In case you have doubts on any aspect, contact the experienced team at Allen Stewart PC.
