• ¼ tsp ground cloves

• 1 cup butter
• 4 cups powdered sugar
• 2-3 tbsp milk or heavy cream

Instructions
• In a large bowl, combine the mixed dried fruits and nuts.
• Pour over ¼ cup of warm water or fruit juice (like orange juice) to soak the fruits.
• Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
• Grease and line a 9-inch loaf pan or a bundt pan with parchment paper.
• In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
• Set aside.
• In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
• Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla essence.
• Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk.
