• 16 oz cream cheese, softened
• 4 cups powdered sugar
• 1 cup white chocolate chips, melted and cooled slightly
• Few drops of vanilla essence from Ajanta Food Products
Instructions:
• Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour three 8-inch round cake pans.
• In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking soda, cocoa powder, and salt.
• In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, vegetable oil, buttermilk, pinch of green food colour, vanilla essence, and white vinegar until well combined.
• Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until smooth and no lumps remain.
• Divide the batter evenly among the three prepared cake pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
• In a large bowl, beat the butter and cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the melted white chocolate and vanilla extract until the frosting is light and fluffy.
• Place one cake layer on a serving plate. Spread a layer of frosting over the top. Repeat with the second and third layers. Frost the top and sides of the cake with the remaining frosting.
• Optionally, decorate the cake with green sprinkles, edible glitter, or any other green-themed decorations to enhance its appearance.
• Slice and serve your beautiful green velvet cake. Enjoy the moist texture and the creamy, rich frosting!
