Noida: “Every great design begins with an even better story. Design creates culture. Culture shapes values. Values determine the future. I am happy our designers have actually researched well before reaching to the conclusion. This time we have touched 52 countries where 200 designers are presenting 700 garments out of their collection,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Festival on the third and the last session of second day of festival at Noida Film City.
“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening. Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. Design what can be wearable on regular or on occasion,” added Sandeep Marwah.
The extra ordinary collection of the designers was presented on the ramp which was liked by every person present there. Sanjana Kaushik showcased the garments influenced by the country of Papua New Guinea, Sanjana Jha took the initiative from the flora and fauna from Sudan, Komal Tyagi influenced by the art and culture of Egypt, Bilal Azhar opted for the country of Lebanon, Charu Kirti & Samreen Syed presented their art work in the shape of garments from Cyprus, Vanishika Jain showed designs from Nepal, Urvashi Bajpai prepared the garments touched by Iran, Anshita Thakur opted to cover fascinating collection from Czech Republic, Simran Pandey again projected collection from Lebanon and the last round was by Shikhar Saxena where India was highlighted,
A dairy designed by Ayushi Bharti was released by the dignities. Vinod Kumar Verma Vice President Aditya Birla Group, Daniel Voznak Embassy of Czech Republic, Laila Mostofi from Iran, Ankit Nagpal Director Bang on Target PR Media Solution, also spoke on the occasion. Avernita Shrivastava Associate Dean AAFT School of Fashion and Design conducted the program and Ritu Lal Director AAFT School of Fashion and Design proposed vote of thanks.
