Mortgage Industry Veteran Brings Decades of Proven Expertise


Fairbridge Lending, a new private lender subsidiary of Fairbridge Asset Management, has welcomed Biagio P. Maffettone as Managing Partner. Prior to joining, Maffettone spent more than two decades building his practice as an award-winning mortgage loan originator, sales manager and real estate financier. He has held senior sales leadership positions at several of New York’s top mortgage banks.

Maffettone is a mortgage industry veteran well-versed in all types of real estate financing. As Managing Partner of Fairbridge Lending, he will oversee originations for a range of investment property non-QM and commercial loan products, including fix and flip loans, debt-service coverage ratio (DSCR) loans, and other business purpose and commercial loans, including bridge financing options.

Over the course of his career, Maffettone has received a number of industry-related awards, including President’s Club, Top Recruiter Award and #1 Customer Service Award, in addition to the Mortgage Professionals Excellence in Customer Service award 10 years running.

Maffettone resides in Scarsdale, New York, with his wife and three children. He graduated magna cum laude from Boston College and earned an MBA in Finance and Investments from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College. A proud first-generation Italian-American, he enjoys traveling, fitness, volunteering, investing, real estate development, and helping clients achieve their homeownership goals.
