Collins will be responsible for the overall operations of CBI and will work closely with CEO Cliff Berry Jr to implement the strategic vision and growth of the company.
“I am extremely excited to have Patrick join our team to help me run the company, grow our business, and execute both our short- and long-term strategic goals. While my role is not changing and I will be as highly engaged in the business as ever, I do look forward to expanding my command-and-control capabilities and enhancing our leadership scope to grow the business into the future,” said Berry Jr. “Patrick brings a wealth of knowledge and a diverse operational background that aligns perfectly with CBI’s missions. Most importantly, I believe he is a natural fit into our culture and will be a staunch champion of our company values.”
“I could not be more honored and excited to be joining the CBI family! As a staple in the Florida market for over sixty years, I am very much looking forward to building upon the success CBI has had to date and working with the dedicated employees and exceptional team to grow the business into the future,” said Collins.
Prior to joining CBI, Collins spent the past ten years in roles with increasing responsibility with Crowley Maritime Corporation, most recently as Vice President of Operations responsible for the company’s marine container terminals in the US, the Caribbean, and Central America, marine vessel operations, and the HSSE/ESG strategic initiatives for the logistics business unit. Collins also served eleven years as an officer in the United States Coast Guard in a variety of roles including operations afloat, prevention, and emergency response/incident command.
Collins is also the current President of the Port Everglades Association, serves on the USCG Foundation District 7 Committee, is a member of the Propeller Club in both Jacksonville and Miami, and is the proud coach of various little league sports teams for his 9 and 10-year-old sons.
