Stand in Solidarity with the Abused Ones—La Verite (Voila!)

Posted January 24, 2022 by davidwatmore

We cannot live in a world where the abuser and the abused have to breathe the same air—either one has to compromise, and in most cases, it is the one targeted.

After years of courage, meditation, and struggles, Justine Alima has stepped forward to talk about the issues that destroy a person’s personality forever. In her book, she has openly discussed sensitive topics like pedophilia, stress, abuse, harassment, and traumas. The sole targets of her book are parents, young adults, and women.

People often do not know about the struggles one has to go through after an unpleasant, scary, or traumatic event. The constant thoughts, overthinking, and self-doubt haunts the person every single day. We do not know how one has to cry themselves to sleep every night, and no one can even imagine the other person’s trauma. From the beginning, emotional abuse, sexual harassment, pedophilia, and physical abuse have existed. The abuser continues to live their life, while the abused have to wage war to love themselves.

The least one can do is stand in solidarity with the victims to let them know that they are not alone—show that they are loved, their feelings are acknowledged, and they will make it through the tough time. To make people understand that it is okay to have emotions, Justine has written a book where she has shared her own experience. As a kid, Justine Alima was a victim of bullies and abusers. To make people feel less miserable and more wanted, she has jotted down her experiences.

When going through a major trauma, people do not feel comfortable talking about their emotions and ranting out. It is, indeed, one challenging task—fighting with thoughts and keeping on with life. Writers like Justine Alima are a ray of hope for the abuse survivors because their story tells that the world is harsh, not the victims.
Justine Alima is one of those writers who believe that shedding light on sensitive topics is important. In this book, she has discussed some serious issues, the traumas they can cause, and how they can affect someone’s personality for a longer period. Justine has tried her best to create a comfort zone for people who encounter abuse by telling her own story. All evil cannot be finished, but it can be stopped or, realistically, lowered.
