2019 has been a momentous year for the economic growth in India. The central government taking charge has a great vision to make the country a $ 5 trillion economy 5 years down the line. Last night in the national capital the SME Business Excellence Awards was hosted by Dun & Bradstreet and the winners from the Food Processing and Agro Products was Megaa Moda Private limited. It is one of east India’s best processors and exporters of shrimps and has worldwide recognition by now.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the most prosperous SME platform in the nation, called the Dun & Bradstreet’s SME Business Excellence Awards. They have joined hands with RBL Bank for the fourth time for the award function in 2019. Along with all other significant developments during the year, this year the platform had a theme 'In Pursuit of a US$ 5 Trillion Indian Economy: Five Accelerators for SMEs’.

It is a tremendously big achievement for eastern India's Shrimp and Prawn Exporters, to receive the SME Business Excellence Award 2019 for Food Processing and Agro Products from Minister of State for MSME, Shri Pratap Chandra Sarangi along with MD, Dun & Bradstreet, Mr. Manish Sinha and Mr. Vincent Valladares, Head-Commercial Bank, RBL Bank. The jury of the award were business heads from diverse genres, the event started with honorable speakers talking about the importance of MSME in India. When we caught up with Yogesh Gupta, ' Director Megaa Moda, he was highly ecstatic, says, ' As a company, my business partner Mr. Ramalingam and me have always been dedicated to our work and strategies for growth, our endeavor has always been in promoting quality products for domestic as well as global markets. The award is a boost and attached responsibility to keep up the quality and soar higher every year'.

The award ceremony took place in New Delhi which was graced by superior official administrators from SMEs, state government, financial organizations, and tech corporations.
