Bridge refers to the process of forwarding network packets according to the address of the link layer of the OSI network model. When the 4g sim card router is configured with bridge options, it processes all data frames on all interfaces and investigates the location of each host in real time.

If a frame is added to an interface, an entry is inserted into a bridge listing the host sending the data and the MAC address of the interface receiving the frame, so that the routing table is continually refined in the communication. Transparent bridging makes the 4g sim card router transparent to the host, acting as a LAN switch. If two hosts in the same LAN are communicating, the data frames are not sent to other interfaces because in the bridge, the data frames are coming from the same interface. If you receive a frame whose MAC address is not in its bridge list, it will spread that frame to all the interfaces, and the bridge will spread all the broadcast packets, taking up the effective bandwidth of the network and causing network congestion.
