Is the CBD Market Flooded?

With the seemingly absurd variety of CBD products available on the market today, you may find yourself wondering whether or not the CBD market is completely flooded.

The answer to this, as it turns out, is not so simple. Right now, it seems that a new boutique CBD brand is launched nearly every day. They all seem to offer the same products: Full-spectrum tinctures, salves, creams, and other things. The problem with this is there is very little, if anything to differentiate these products from each other. Virtually all of them are exactly the same and there is really nothing different about them other than the brand you see on the label and how they market and sell their products. This phenomenon can certainly be attributed to large CBD product white-labeling companies offering product 'development' services to smaller companies for very little money, and really delivering them nothing in the way of real value. These companies often use very low quality and impure ingredients, which is why their white label brands often don't list test results for their products.

Another problem with the market today is the sheer variety of different kinds of products that may only be marginally effective, and certainly make it no easier for consumers to know what works and what is pure hype. I'm talking about products such as CBD-infused toothpaste, gum, water, hand sanitizer, toilet paper, and more (you get the idea). Some companies stop at nothing to try to put CBD into literally every product they can think of, with little regard to whether or not it is effective at all.

For example, a company called CBD Living has virtually made a name out of making novel and ridiculous CBD products like CBD hand sanitizer and water. We mentioned in a previous article that one of their products, CBD Living Water, was found via third-party lab tests to have literally no CBD in it whatsoever. With all of the different new CBD products being launched every day, who really knows how many of them work or even contain CBD at all. For all we know, most of them could be nothing more than gimmicks designed to separate consumers from their money while delivering them little to nothing in terms of actual value.

So in conclusion, is the CBD market flooded? Yes and no. Flooded with brands, types of products, and hype? Absolutely. Flooded with differentiated formulations and unique products that work? Far from it.

At Embr CBD, we will never sell any product unless we are absolutely certain of it's effectiveness. When you buy from us, you can be confident that all of our products have been tested and used extensively and don't come from any low-quality, cookie cutter white label brand. We believe that it is more important to manufacture and sell products which we know work than it is to bring a large volume of novel and perhaps ineffective products to market. Other companies design CBD products to sell, we design them to work. It's that simple.
