Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, recently celebrated the 15th anniversary of the opening of the company's Kaunas, Lithuania branch.
Future Electronics was founded in Montreal in 1968 by company President Robert Miller. It expanded into the United States in 1972, opening its first American office in Boston.
The company's Kaunas branch serves customers across Lithuania as well as Latvia. Established in 2004, the branch has grown into a regional hub, with customer-dedicated sales teams, customer service and credit teams, in addition to the branch sales team.
"I've watched our customers expand from just a handful of employees to large companies with hundreds of employees doing tens of millions of dollars in business each year," said Branch Manager Donatas Trapenskas. "We've grown together with international EMS companies and local OEM manufacturers in the 15 years since the Lithuania branch first opened."
Robert Miller, President of Future Electronics, congratulated the Kaunas team on their 15-year milestone, and thanked everyone for their contributions to the success of the branch.
