With an experienced technical and service team in India, Specialityvalve is a leading Control Valve manufacturer in India. We have a professional team that can help you with your valve needs. Our valves are made at our advanced manufacturing facility with high-quality materials.
A Control Valve Manufacturer in India is used to control conditions such as temperature, pressure, flow and liquid level by fully or partially opening or closing in response to signals received from controller. These Control Valves from Specialityvale are used to maintain a process variable as close as possible to the desired set point.

A control valve in India is a critical part of a control loop and is an example of final control element. It is by far the most common final control element used in industry today.
Control valve symbol
A control valve symbol consist of two triangles touching each other with the tips of their inner points and a diaphragm type actuator coming from the center of the valve.

Principles of Operation of Control valve

In control valve the opening or closing of control valves is usually done automatically either by electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic actuators. To control the opening or closing of the actuator positioners are used based on electric, or pneumatic signals.
These actuators are connected to the valve through the stem of the valve that provides the force required to move the valve.
Controller such as PLC or DCS transfer the signal to control valve in order to operate. These controller which compares the actual flow rate to the desired flow value called setpoint. To bring the flow rate to the setpoint value the controller will produce an output to move the valve.

Control valve Components
A control valve mainly consists two parts
• Valve’s actuator
• Valve’s body

1. Actuator part
In Control valve either pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical actuators are used. Out of which pneumatic type is most commonly used in industries. Actuators various components are rain cap, eye bolt, diaphragm, spring, actuator stem, diaphragm case, scale plate, stem connector and yoke.
2. Body part
Body part includes bonnet which is exposed to the fluid directly, so choosing the best materials is required as well as fluid, temperature and pressure. It basically includes packing flange, flower, yoke claim nut, gland packing, valve stem, bonnet, stud bolt and nut, gasket, etc..
Types of Control valve
Based on attributes and features they are classified as

1. Pressure drop profile
a. High recovery valve
b. Low recovery valve

2. Functionality
a. Check valve
b. Steam conditioning valve
c. Spring loaded safety valve
d. Shut Off/On-Off valve

3. Movement profile of the controlling element
a. Sliding Stem
b. Rotary valve

4. Actuating medium
a. Manual valve
b. Pneumatic valve
c. Hydraulic valve
d. Electric valve

Requirements of Control valve in different Industries
1. Semiconductor manufacturing industry
2. Fuel industry
3. Laboratory
4. Chemical industry
5. Oil and gas industry
6. Food industry

Advantages
• Easy to install.
• Environment friendly i.e. wastage of resources is reduced.
• During the fluid flow it prevents clogging.
• Play a vital role in controlling fluid flow pressure, temperature, and fluid level.
• Money saving device.
