These monthly runs are free and open to the public. They are organized by InfoCepts Foundation and Orange City Runners and they attract hundreds of local running enthusiasts of all ages, from hobbyists to athletes. Each run also focuses on spreading awareness on a social cause such as Environmental Sustainability, Save the Tigers, Cancer Awareness, Disability Awareness and so on.
“We have always been committed to helping raise the overall health and fitness of the communities where we work and live, and these monthly runs underscore this commitment,” says Shashank Garg, founder and CEO of InfoCepts.
Participants can sign up for different distance categories, including 3KM, 5KM, and 10KM. Energy stations are set throughout the route, and the run concludes with a breakfast. Runners receive bibs and finisher badges, as well as e-certificates.
“These running events are fun and not competitive,”Garg adds. “It’s about encouraging people to go outside, run at a pace that’s comfortable for them, and take breaks when they need to. We want them to enjoy the experience and hopefully make running a part of their lifestyle”
