An announcement that Dr Alfried Laengle will be conducting two talks in London on February 27, 2020.

On Thursday 27th February, Dr Laengle will be back in the UK to give two public lectures in one day – an afternoon talk in London and an evening talk in Cambridge!

1pm | University of East London, Stratford
7pm | Yusuf Hamied Theatre, Cambridge.

‘How to Find Meaning and Fulfilment, through the Four Fundamental Motivations of Existential Analysis’
A talk by Dr Alfried Laengle, renowned Austrian psychotherapist
& founder of The Viennese School of Existential Analysis & Logotherapy
-------
❏ How often do you ask yourself whether you agree with the life you are living?
❏ Do you feel that you are living authentically?
❏ Where do you find meaning?
Finding a Yes to life. This is the goal of Existential Analysis.
We all want a happy and fulfilling life – real lasting happiness. But this can only come from true inner fulfilment. Life does have its difficulties and challenges, but there are skills we can learn to help us cope and find direction, even through these difficult moments.
This talk by Dr Laengle explores the key ideas behind Existential Analysis and its unique approach to finding meaning and inner fulfilment. It recognises that our existence is built on four fundamental motivations which, when properly examined, can enable a life to be lived with ‘inner consent’.
The talk will be followed by a Q & A session.

Dr Laengle is also returning to London this month to teach on our International Training Programme in Existential Analysis and Logotherapy, which begins on 28th February.
This four-and-a-half year course, run by GLE International and The Viennese School of Existential Analysis and Logotherapy, is particularly aimed at health professionals, psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, counsellors, coaches or anyone who wants to deepen their knowledge and understanding of psychology. The 18-module training will qualify students to practise counselling, psychotherapy and coaching in the UK and abroad.
The programme was created by Dr Laengle in 1991, based on foundations developed with Viktor Frankl, as well as Laengle’s own later research. Today, this highly successful training course is taught in North America, South America, Russia and across Europe.
Dr Laengle is the author of several books and over 400 scientific articles on the theory and practice of existential analysis.
The classes will be conducted by Dr Alfried Laengle himself, as principal teacher and programme director, assisted by other GLE International trainers – including Derrick Klaassen, Käri-Ann Thorn, and Beth Daily.
For full details of our training programme, including dates and fees, please visit our website via the link below. The course is nearly full but it is not too late to join!
