An (RYT) Registered Yoga Teacher is a distinction given to yoga teachers whose training and teaching experience meet Yoga Alliance requirements. Registered yoga teachers can earn different types of designations depending on their level of training and experience.
How to take RYT 200 hour’s yoga teacher training?
Teachers can register as an RYT® 200 if they have successfully completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training from any registered yoga school which is registered with Yoga Alliance. Teaching hours are not required for this designation.

How to take E-RYT 200 hours teacher training
Teachers can register as an E-RYT 200 if the yoga teachers have successfully completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training from any registered yoga school which is registered with Yoga Alliance. They have also taught a minimum of two years after completing their yoga training from RYS. All training hours must come from the same school and multiple typed of trainings cannot be combined to meet the 200-hour Requirements. Applicants must submit 1,000 teaching hours for this designation which must be completed after completing training with any best RYS 200. Once registered, an E-RYT 200 can provide continuing education classes and workshops to other teachers and can become a Lead Trainer of a 200-hour teacher training.
• Training Requirements:
Yoga teacher must complete a 200-hour teacher training with any RYS 200.
• Teaching hour Requirements:
The yoga teacher who is going to become E-RYT should have at least 1,000 hours of teaching experience since completing training with an RYS 200.
• Teaching time Requirements:
He has taught for at least 2 years since completing training with a RYS 200.
In addition to the standard designations above, some teachers may take specialty trainings with schools that permit them to register under the specialty of children’s or prenatal yoga. Yoga teachers that have also completed a standard training with an (RYS) Registered Yoga School and have at least the RYT 200 may apply to register with a specialty designation of yoga. Yoga Alliance permits teachers with a registered specialty to use both designations as long as they remain as the current member of it.
How to register as Registered Children's Yoga Teacher (RCYT®)?
Teachers can register as an RCYT if they have successfully completed both a 200-hour yoga teacher training as well as 95-hour children's yoga training with any best RYS that are registered with Yoga Alliance.

Yoga teacher must have completed a 200-hour teacher training with a RYS 200

How to register as Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT®)?
Yoga Teachers can register as an RPYT if they have successfully completed both a 200-hour yoga teacher training and an 85-hour prenatal yoga training from any best RYS that are registered with Yoga Alliance.

Yoga teacher must have completed a 200-hour teacher training with a RYS 200.
He must have completed an 85-hour teacher training with a Registered Prenatal Yoga School (RPYS)
• Teaching hour Requirements:
Yoga teachers must have at least 30 hours of teaching experience in prenatal yoga since completing training with ana RPYS.
• Teaching time Requirements:
Not required for it.
