Everything about ‘the black hair scientist’

The amazing founder actually grew up in Georgetown, South America with her mother, father and the younger brother. Do you know anything about cricket? If yes, you might have heard about her father; Milton Pydana, the legendary West Indian Cricketer. Her mother, Audrey Pydana was a nurturer both privately and professionally. Also, she was the head of Nursing at a local hospital until she passed away when Rochelle was a teenager.

Rochelle herself has spent much of her life as a scientist while she hasn’t always been in beauty business. In the year 1993, the younger brother and her moved to the United States to live with their father in Brooklyn, New York. Before relocating to the Metro Detroit area to attend college at Michigan State University, Rochelle worked part-time gigs. Such a hardworking and determined person, right? Yeah, I thought so too. The odd jobs helped her pay her bills and have a little cash on her.

Since she was focused and wanted to be great, she put herself through college as a full time student by working and saving, even sleeping on the floor. Sometimes, she had to make a choice between the little cash she had on food or gas. Gladly, within four years, she graduated with a degree in Clinical Laboratory Science because she took classes even during the summers. They say, like mother like daughter; Rochelle followed her mother’s footsteps- She worked in a hospital serving and helping people too but not as the head of nursing. She helped couples suffering with infertility to conceive via assisted reproductive technologies and did clinical lab testings until she relocated to Atlamnta metro area with her husband and the son.

Being a mother can be so demanding that you don’t get enough time to even take care of the small things that you used to. That is how Rochelle felt, as she was so in to taking care of her home and the family. The daily routine made it seem like her time slowed down, so a time came when she was fed up with the unhealthy state of her hair. Consequently, that gave her room to consider how she could utilize her expertise as a scientist to do something else.

As the son was old enough, she went back to work as a scientist; it was interesting that she could use what she knew to manufacture safe, healthy and natural products for women with color. She was taught how to hydrate the skin and hair, how to preserve the hair from heat, and how to keep the skin healthy, clear, and vibrant as she grew up. Finally, she decided to make products that would support all women with color to natural.
