Bluetooth keyboards are mostly aimed to be used for informal use. And if you are looking for good options, then you may not want to miss out on the Logitech K380 multi-device Bluetooth keyboard. The American-Swiss enterprise Logitech recently released a refreshed version of its K380.
The new version of this multi-device Bluetooth keyboard comes with some new improvements but the core features remain the same. It can be availed in four different colours mainly off-white, rose, black, and blue.
The keyboard can be used alongside several devices like tablets, customary computers, laptops, televisions, and Smartphone’s. If you need it, you may also pair it with a streaming dongle.
As a PC accessory, it is a must-have. It is a mainstream wireless keyboard that is different from those that need regular charging via USB ports.
Design
Logitech has rendered a very minimalistic, versatile, and contemporary design to K380. It has a slim profile that keeps the carbon footprint of both the maker and the user constricted. As compared to its predecessors, the exteriors are more or less the same. It has 79 keys along with scissor switches apart from the power button on the left of the keyboard.
Along with this, Logitech has also blessed it with four LED indicators that indicate a connection with different devices. The customary F-keys are on the tops with special buttons for smartphones. Notable keys include the “cmd” for Command and “alt opt” for the iPad, iOS, and Mac users. The keyboard has a universal application.
Multi-Device Connectivity
The highlight of the K380 is its ability to connect with multiple devices without any hassle. For switching, you just need to tap the button located on the top left of the keyboard. For simplicity, Logitech has labelled the button numerically as 1, 2, and 3 alongside the Bluetooth logo. The labelling, paint, and LED light ensure that all the buttons are distinct. The lights easily help one understand that the device is connected and what’s the latest connections status with the connected device.
For connection, you wouldn’t need to press the button for more than 1-2 seconds. When you notice the light blinking rapidly, you will see the K380 appearing in the available Bluetooth devices list on the device. If the LED light remains solid, it means the connection is stable and if there is any rapid blinking it means that the pairing is undergoing. You can easily switch between different connected devices with just a second or two of delay.
Lastly, the company already sends the keyboard with two AAA batteries that offer a two-year battery backup. The specifications clearly indicate that it can work with any Bluetooth supporting device. It can connect with any Bluetooth device within a 10 metres range.
Final Word
Logitech is offering a complete package with the K380 Bluetooth keyboard. It is an accessory that is totally worth its price as it remains true to its name and promise of a flawless experience.
