Melbourne, 30– Nov- 2020 – International students in Australia have been doing it particularly tough through COVID-19 lockdowns, with few support avenues open to them. To help make things just that little bit easier, Mad Mex is offering two of its most popular dishes at $2.
Note: This is not a one-off deal – it’s available to international students every day until Sunday 8 November, 2020.
“We wanted to do our bit to help our international student amigos and show some solidarity for what they’re going through,” Mad Mex CEO and founder, Clovis Young said. “For them, money is tighter than many of us could imagine. We wanted to give them wholesome, nutritious and authentic Mexican flavours at the lowest possible price to help keep spirits up.”
International students can choose between a Small Chicken or Veggie Rancheros Naked Burrito for just $2 at the Flinders Lane restaurant (Shop 5, 35 Elizabeth Street). To access the deal, they just need to flash their International Student ID card.
“The Melbourne community has come together in an unprecedented way to help everyone through these challenging times,” Young said. “Mexican flavours and culture is world-renowned for its heavy focus on community, and we know that with so many struggling right now, it’s important for us that we do what we can to help look after our familia.”
There’s a limit of one meal per amigo per visit. Both the Small Chicken and Veggie Rancheros Naked Burritos are set builds and so no changes to fillings are available.
Ends.
