USA: Dynie Sanderson, the owner and content creator of Napa Food Gal Travels, is excited to share her experience of traveling to “Churchill Wild” and Polar Bear Country Manitoba’s tundra region. She is an experienced food, wine, and travel writer and has spent most of her past 25 years in Napa Valley, California, while crafting stories.
Churchill Wild is one of the best places in the world to see polar bears. It lies deep within the natural habitat of a healthy population of polar bears. Visitors from around the globe visit the Churchill region in Northern Manitoba, Canada each year during the late summer and fall month for the excitement of seeing these magnificent animals in the wild. Dynie Sanderson was eager to explore the wilderness of the polar bear country and decided to see these fantastic animals in person.
Strategically located in Polar Bear Alley, Churchill Wild’s Nanuck Lodge is located in the path of polar bears before they mate and hibernate for the winter months. She had the opportunity to safely photograph polar bears at ground level, behind an unobtrusive electric fence. She states her experience as, “I had an amazing and memorable experience with Churchill Wild. It was exceptional. The Nanuck Polar Bear Country lodge includes an executive chef, Expedition Leaders, and local Inuit guides.
Churchill Wild’s expedition leaders are also passionate photographers. They always aim to get guests into the ideal position for amazing shots and are happy to share photography tips. Honestly, the team of people they have there is completely top-notch. “From the Lodge Manager and her team at the lodge, to the guides on the wilderness excursions, I was impressed!”
Dynie Sanderson started her writing career in the year 2000. She created a magazine called the GuestWest Magazine, which became a popular and premier Wine Country publication. Her magazine highlights the local wine country that takes readers beyond the Napa Valley to talk about exotic cuisines, wines and travels. She later went on to work as a consultant and contributor to Napa’s signature lifestyle publication, Napa Valley Life Magazine as the Food and Flavor editor. Sanderson’s travels have taken her to Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Italy, France and Great Britain to name a few for wine tasting and foodie adventures among the locals.
