As Mumbai juvenility is dropping victim to violent drug exploitation, suspended policeman Radhe played by Salman Khan is remembered for a clean-up mission of the city. However, Radhe is up against a formidable new fugitive Rana played by Randeep Hooda, who is looking to rule the city and wants to stop at nothing to get the control of the city in his hands.
Set completely in Mumbai, ‘Radhe Your Most Wanted Bhai’ is a Salman Khan action-drama that doesn’t aspire to be anything different, ever. Radhe is an encounter professional with 97 encounters and 23 transfers to his credence, in the past 10 years of his cop career. Between looking up for the bad guys and saving the lives of many, Radhe also finds his love interest in his boss’ sister Diya played by Disha Patani.
For such a conventional big named Bollywood jewel, most of what Radhe emphasizes is on predictable lines. For such cinemas, the contest is always about discovering asymmetry between falling for the stereotypes and advancing some innovation and also keep the entertainment computation on greater terms. Director Prabhu Deva tries to showcase to the audience many such inducements that conceivably derail the anecdote, but thanks to the action and the acting of our villain – Randeep, the movie is watchable in parts.
While the movie commences with a high-impact display where the gundas are thrashing up another rogue, a range of confrontation views between Salman and Randeep that follow, are an absolute treat to watch and is one thing you will like about the film.
However, there are way too many distractions along the way. Leading among them is the film’s heroine Disha Patani. She is the absolute eye-candy and adds loads of charm to the picture, but her track is literally counter-prolific to the narrative. her story derails the main theme of the film and looks absolutely unnecessary in some of the parts.
Director Prabhu Deva relies profoundly on Salman’s star-power, his stylish self, and the swag to drive the anecdote and it works when our leading man is packing a punch. But ahead of the action sequences, we are left with flimsy dialogues, his obscure chemistry with actress Disha Patani, and humorless dialogues with Jackie Shroff, who performs Salman’s senior as a cop. There is an endeavor to introduce comedy with the help of conversations and circumstances. In this hardcore action drama Bollywood movie, but it doesn’t always work in the right direction.
We give Salman Khan Starrer 2. 5 stars out of 5. Do share your reviews of the film in the comment section below.
