A popular mall on the Las Vegas strip with high-profile clients needed a horizontal grease line repaired. This line serviced the restaurant's kitchens in the food court. Part of the four-inch diameter cast iron grease line goes through a foot-thick concrete wall, making traditional pipe replacement a serious issue. Nu Flow was able to assist with their proven CIPP technology, eliminating the need for the concrete wall to be destroyed and enabling the food court restaurants to remain open during the repair process.

Nu Flow offers a non-invasive pipe lining repair solution, known as CIPP (cured-in-place pipe) lining. The Nu Flow technicians used existing access points to clean and retrofit the grease line. The project was able to be completed within one day, rather than the weeks it would require for traditional repairs.

The professional and experienced team used the Nu Flow pneumatic cutting tool to break apart the build-up in the existing pipes, returning them to their original diameter. They then used the company's product Nu Drain, which was installed using a pull-in-place process. The epoxy was allowed to cure in place providing a seamless liner inside the existing pipe. The protective epoxy liner used reduces the risk of leaks, cracks, corrosion, root invasion and more while ensuring an improvement in flow rate.

The Nu Drain CIPP process was used without destroying the building. They used a grease bypass system during the process to reduce any interruptions to the restaurants, while the pipes were lined and repaired.
