Singapore, Singapore Jan 9, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - LRQA's acquisition of SAS will strengthen its offering of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) assurance services, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region, as demand for data-driven ESG supply chain assurance solutions increases.

This marks the third acquisition for LRQA as an independent business, following the acquisition of ELEVATE, a Hong Kong-based ESG assurance specialist, in January 2022, and ATvanGarde, a Singapore-based cybersecurity consultancy, in August 2022.

SAS provides audits for clients such as SEDEX, an ethical supply chain membership organization, and Fair Farms, an initiative promoting fair employment practices in Australian horticulture. The combination of SAS and LRQA's products and locations will allow them to offer a broader range of risk management solutions and support the growing need for transparent and technology-led ESG solutions that align with sustainable best practices.
