Key Features
Lubricant for running-in, maintenance, threaded connections, and extreme pressure during assembly.
Because of its low coefficient of friction, it is also ideal as a lubricant for moveable screws, threaded spindles, and lead screws. It is primarily developed as a running-in lubricant for plain bearings, splines, gears, cams, and ways. Additionally, it can be employed in situations where high loads and friction protection are required, as well as where burnishing is impractical. It is appropriate for applications involving aircraft engines and airframes.
Features & benefits
● High load-carrying capacity
● Low coefficient of friction
● Prevents frictional corrosion and scoring
● Protection from stick-slip
● Good anti-corrosion properties
● Reduces formation of fretting corrosion
● Simplifies dismantling processes
● High surface-covering capacity (40 m2/kg)
● Extend service life
● In border applications, lubricate beyond the yield point of the majority of metals to reduce wear and aid prevent seizing, galling, and excessive friction
● Help run-in, lessen the frictional force, and prevent surface abrasion
● It is easier to effectively convert torque into holding force when there is a low coefficient of friction, which also makes it easier to disassemble threaded fasteners.
Composition
● Mineral oil
● Solid lubricants
● Thickener
Applications
Press-fit manufacturing of all kinds of machine parts is used as a running-in lubricant for brand-new gearboxes and machines. Permanent lubrication for drilling, sawing, and thread cutting as well as for machine parts that are only seldom or minimally moved. Successfully used for tightening and fitting roller bearings, washers, wheels, flanges, and bolts. Also used for lubricating threaded spindles, splined shafts, toothed gears, worm and transmission gears, screws, valves, pumps, and machine-tool guides.
How to Use
Apply the paste using a brush, cloth, synthetic sponge, or window leather after cleaning the sliding surfaces or contact points. Use sparingly, just like with oil lubrication. The adhesion will be improved by vigorous rubbing into the metal surfaces. Do not combine with oils or greases.
