Founded and led by Zoe Mitchell, the innovative site has created a fantastic platform to share her passion for the sport with the wider world.
The Kayak Info Center provides an incredible resource of valuable information, tips and hints, for enthusiasts and beginners alike, and with growing support the site is thriving. Also offering excellent personal advice, a great range of kayaking accessories and through its social media outreach programs it’s creating a growing community of like-minded kayakers from around the world. Kayaking is a sport that is experiencing a renaissance of popularity, with the number of participants growing every day. It’s an incredibly healthy past time for many friends, families and groups looking to experience the natural wonders of the waterways all over the world.

According to a recent study published by the American Journal of Recreational Therapy, kayaking also has great impacts on mental as well as physical health! It was found that kayaking could reduce depression by nearly 10% and anxiety by around 5%! These are amazing findings and really do show that kayaking has something to offer all of us!
How it all began for Kayak Info Center.
Zoe Mitchell’s journey began as a one off day trip while she was enjoying an ocean cruise, but after trying out the sport she has dedicated much of her life to improving her own technique as well as sharing her knowledge and experience with others who are interested in joining the growing ranks of kayak enthusiasts.

As well as providing a platform for articles and written content on the website Kayak Info Center, the team have also created a YouTube channel for those who wish to take in the valuable information in a more visual format. Combining video, pictures and instructional content, the channel is a useful resource for anyone interested in kayaking.
