Michael Schane’s first novel is all set to become every child’s new favorite story. The book ‘The Boy and The Girl’ introduces Saos, a teenager who struggles to connect with his peers and often feels like he doesn’t belong.
Saos finds peace in the forest, his favorite place in the world. While others sleep or play, he sneaks out at night to sit under the moon, letting the quiet comfort him. To everyone around him, Saos seems distant and rude, always forcing a smile during the day and hiding his tears at night. Deep down, he wishes for someone who understands him, someone who sees him for who he really is.
One night, he meets an unlikely companion—a witch. At first, he’s scared, but he soon realizes she is just as lonely as he is. Her sadness is clear, and they quickly become friends. Saos finally has someone who gets him, someone who makes him feel less alone.
Their bond grows stronger, but their journey isn’t without challenges. A tragedy strikes, testing their friendship. Instead of tearing them apart, it brings them closer, proving the strength of true friendship.
Michael Schane wanted to show the power of a real, meaningful connection, and he’s done it wonderfully with “The Boy and The Witch.”
This story is perfect for kids aged 13 and under. It’s easy to read, full of beautiful illustrations, and will soon be available on Amazon. Don’t miss this heartwarming tale!
