2D Ultrasound Scans

2D scans are the traditional black-and-white scans. The professional sonographers at BabyVue can perform a range of 2D scans, depending on how far along the mother is in her pregnancy.

BabyVue offers dating scans as early as six weeks up to 14 weeks. A dating scan determines if the pregnancy is single or multiple, visualises the baby’s heartbeat, dates the pregnancy and if necessary, includes a transvaginal scan.

The clinic offers gender scans as well, which are performed between 16 to 24 weeks. BabyVue also caters to those who are planning a gender reveal party, sharing the gender only to the event organiser.

Reassurance scans are done between 14 to 40 weeks. These show the position of the baby and check their health and development progress. At 24 to 40 weeks, a growth and presentation scan measures the baby’s head, femur and abdomen to assess their growth.

4D Ultrasound Scans

A 4D scan lets expecting parents see what their baby looks like before the birth. BabyVue offers 4D scans from 24 to 32 weeks of pregnancy. For optimal imaging, the clinic recommends having the scan at 28 weeks.

The 4D scan allows parents to watch their baby move in real time, see the facial features of their baby, confirm the gender, check the position and assess the health and development.

HD digital images and movie clips of both 2D and 4D scans are sent through e-mail, along with the well-being report.
