All those undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S on or before January 1, 2021 or does not have any criminal record are eligible for this "Lawful Prospective Immigrant" or "LPI" status.

Under this LPI Bill, the undocumented immigrants would be given the provisional status that would permit them to remain in the United States for six years. This Bill would act as an "entryway" that will allow undocumented immigrants to submit their application for permanent residency and citizenship in the future.

“LPI” status would be granted to eligible applicants for 6 years, and within that time of provisional status, immigrants would then be qualified to apply for permanent residence after 5 years. And after 3 years of being in green card status, such immigrants would then be suitable to apply for U.S. Citizenship.
