American Friends of Yad Eliezer/B'ezri is one of the leading Jewish charities helping poor and needy people in many ways. Our objective in starting a charity organization is to provide help to needy people who have nowhere to look for help.

We also know that you have little money left to donate and for this reason, we have developed separate programs to help poor families. We have divided the programs into different categories to allow donors like you to come forward and support the Jewish charities you want to support.

For example, take our winter warmth campaign. It involves providing warm clothes to those shivering in the cold. And you need to pay only $75 to keep a family warm. If you want to donate a lesser amount, you can choose the other amount and pay whatever amount you want to pay for that cause. Similarly, we are providing electricity support to poor families.

“Many families are forced to live without electricity because they aren’t able to foot their electricity bills. They need help and the best way to help those families is to pay their electricity bills. This is what we do in Jewish charities. If you donate money to pay the electricity bills of poor families, the money will be used for paying the bills”, said the owner of B’ezri.

We keep making programs for different needs like food program that involves feeding poor families. Similarly, we have programs for widows and orphans. Also, we arrange funds for weddings. Our adopt-a-wedding program is for families that want to marry their children. You can adopt a wedding or become a co-sponsor of a wedding by paying only $500.
