You are not really a fan of chemical strippers but you do not know how to get rid of dirt stuck here and there in your oven? Don't panic: with a few everyday products and 100% natural solutions, you will be able to overcome them without getting tired

Wash the oven racks in soapy water

To clean an oven in the state of the art, you must proceed with a minimum of method! This is why before attacking the interior of the oven, always start by cleaning the racks of your appliance. For this, there is a very simple method:

Take the racks out of the oven, and if you have room, put them in your sink.
Then wash them with hot water, washing-up liquid and a classic sponge.
If the dirt persists, simply use a nylon brush or the abrasive side of the sponge.

Degrease the oven with baking soda

Baking soda, a household ally of our grandmothers, is also ideal for helping you clean your oven. 100% ecological, it also deserves to be available in all stores and to be as efficient as it is economical. To clean the inside of a dirty oven with baking soda, here's how:

Pour 6 tablespoons of baking soda into a bowl, then add 2 tablespoons of water.

Apply the paste obtained on the walls and greasy surfaces of your oven, and leave to act overnight.
The next morning, rub gently, then rinse with a wet sponge. Grease stains and encrusted dirt will not resist, and your oven will be like new!

Note : if your oven is large or you have trouble reaching certain corners, do not hesitate to apply the paste using a brush!

Clean the oven door with white vinegar

To clean an oven properly, you must not forget the visible part of the iceberg, namely the pore! Indeed, between fingerprints, stains and splashes, the latter is often almost as dirty as the oven itself.

To clean it and make it shine without using overly aggressive products, concoct a homemade product based on 125 ml of baking soda and 45 ml of white vinegar (another flagship of smart, economical and ecological cleaning).

Using a damp cloth, gently wipe the door of your oven, then rinse with clean water.

Bonus tip: clean your oven with baking powder

Widely used in especially in cooking recipes for its leavening power, baking powder is, like baking soda , a natural product that it is quite possible to use to clean the interior of an oven. Composed of a mixture of cornstarch, baking soda and monocalcium phosphate, you can find it in stores under its trade name "Magic Powder" or magic powder. In case of the proper Oven cleaning this is the best deal now.

To use it, simply pour into a bowl 10 teaspoons of baking powder, add a little water to create a homogeneous paste, and apply the mixture to the interior walls of the oven. Leave on for 12 hours, then rub gently with a sponge and rinse with clear water!
