Upcoming clothing brands are now more towards sustainability. It’s not a new but years-old concept that was faded by the Internation clothing industry that has taken the youth to fiber and inorganic clothing styles. Fortunately, some brands have initiated to relaunch of sustainable clothing. This also helps people to know a little bit about their past and the importance of traditional methods. House of Kerry is one such brand that has introduced Sustainable Clothing Brands in Ireland. The brain behind this is Christine de Vries, who is inspired by the idea of where she was born.  
  
House of Kerry was introduced in 2016 and offers timeless design using Irish wool and silage netting to create patterned homeware and clothing in her studio. It is located at the foothills of mountains and on the shores of Lough Guitane Muckross Co. Kerry, Ireland. They design scarves, wrap dresses, kimono style dresses/coats, cushions, trays, and other accessories with natural and organic cloth material. They believe, “No matter what we do, we leave a carbon footprint; the choice is to make it as tiny as possible!”   
  
With this approach, they design all their clothes. Where other brands follow the fast fashion concept, House of Kerry is a slow fashion brand that cherishes the planet by bringing sustainable clothes. If you like something, it should be there with you or passed to the next generation! House of Kerry is conscious. Thus, it aims to inspire a beautiful collection of timeless heirloom pieces to be adored for a long time. They are a sixth-generation farmer and fashion designer. Before Christine, her grandmother, alongside her grandfather, worked the land, raised a family, and in addition, created and recycled things to create houseware and lovely dresses for their family.  

From here, she got her inspiration and launched the House of Kerry. Her great effort and hard work have proved to everyone that anything can happen if you have the right intention. In 2018 and 2019, Christine won the Irish Fashion Designer of the Year Awards, less than two years of her brand. Also, her work was appreciated in the Spirit of Ireland Magazine, the Business Post, Motley magazine, Vogue Italia, Stellar magazine, and the New European Bauhaus Design platform.
