When purchasing a new kitchen, there are numerous different things to think about and several questions that need answering, but one factor that The Kitchen Factory are asked about more than any other is their kitchen design service. There are many elements to their kitchen design service and a few different things that they require from their client. So they thought they would make a guide to answer any queries the client may have before selecting this service.
Planning for New Kitchen:
Before the client chooses on purchasing The Kitchen Factory's kitchen design service, there are a few steps that they recommend to consider. First of all, collect some motivation through their website where they have the most wonderful images of their kitchens on display.
When have started to find a concept of what styles and designs consider or like, come and visit them. It's great to get inspiration from pictures on different online platforms. There is nothing like finding the kitchens in personally. They have a showroom here in Auckland where they offer lots of beautiful kitchens on display.
If a client book in for a visit with them, (they're open Monday-Friday 8.30am to 4 pm) one of their kitchen designers will spend some time with their client and give some more details about what they can do and hopefully help streamline some of the choices down. This point's very helpful for a client to bring a few information with them including; a simple floor plan- this can simply be a sketch of the room, styles or samples that you like and any additional valuable details about the project.
What They Do:
Beginning with simple drawings of the room structure, their work closely with the client to generate a fantastic design for their kitchen. Their team of designers is not just renowned in the industry for being so creative and brilliant at what they do but also for being genuinely wonderful people to work with them. They will always do everything they can to make sure they design the ideal kitchen for their client. Therefore they will work and communicate with their client through the entire process.
Their first design will take around 1-2 weeks to generate, and then after this, time is extremely much dependant on the client's acceptance of the design. They usually allow another a few weeks to get everything ready to go to manufacture after verification of the design.
Right after an in-depth appointment with the client, either over the phone or in their showroom, they will produce design and plans. This will include appliance preferences, cabinetry or storage requirements, room dimensions, and any other information. This design will hopefully help to visualize what the new kitchen will look like.
Once the client has received the design, they welcome the feedback and will be delighted to complete a set of changes to the design. A quote for the kitchen design will then be provided to enable the client to move forward with their order. Following order placement, they can then fine-tune and tweak the design slightly in preparation for creation.
When the client's kitchen moves into creation after all the purchase specifics have been confirmed their current lead time for production is roughly eight to twelve weeks dependant on size, style, and intricacy of the kitchen.
The Beautiful Kitchen:
They can create so many different kitchen designs because they are 100% bespoke. Odd shaped spaces, bespoke design features or specialty timbers are all challenges that they love to take on, and they will always try to produce the perfect kitchen. Take a look at their website for more images of the wonderful kitchens they can produce.
