The education technology company in Australia, Leaders of Evolution, is working hard to enhance the online learning experience of students in grades 5 & 6 through their leadership programs and curriculum oriented courses. They have tied up with schoolteachers to maximise learning and teaching environment in alignment with the Australian Curriculum. In a recent webinar hosted on Roadmap for Success by LoE co-founder Damian Hecker, he explained six key checkpoints to help schools in Mentoring, organising Group Projects and importance of vision for student leadership.
The Webinar was signed up by 35+ schools across Australia, where teachers wanted to learn how these aspects could help in the development of students.
In the first Roadmap for Success Webinar, Hecker was accompanied by Ben Milsom, the Assistant Principal of Irymple South Primary School. Milsom appreciated the significance of such vision and how it is essential for the students. The purpose of the Webinar is to ensure students get a clear understanding of what they are learning.
The idea is to measure these achievements and impacts after its successful implementation.
In the second Roadmap for success webinar, Damain stressed upon group projects for student development. The Webinar explained about planning and linking 4 Cs of success criteria to complete group projects. He further defined the importance of group projects for students learning.
Damain also stressed on developing a mentor relationship with students for enhancing learning opportunities. Mentoring is about having a clear structure and giving feedback and essential support. The mentoring session further also explains that connecting to students can be in any form. It can be either be by emails or through video calls.
The Leaders of Evolution has aligned with the Australian Curriculum, especially to provide Personal & Social Capability and Self-Management, Social Management for grades 4 & 5 students.
