The COVID-19 pandemic has plagued all parts of the world, including Indonesia. Since its first appearance in China, the spread of the COVID-19 virus has been very fast and the number of infected people has grown very significantly and rapidly. Various information related to COVID-19 is spread on social media, especially Instagram. Some are true, some are misleading. Some believe in fact-based information and data, but others don't.

There are those who believe in hoaxes, but there are also those who don't. Therefore, it is very important to measure the level of public trust based on what they see and what they perceive. Here the writer uses communication theory, communication media theory, factors that influence trust, and mass communication theory as the theoretical basis. This study uses millennial Instagram users in Jakarta as the object of research. So that when viewed in terms of variables, there are 2 variables, namely the Instagram # COVID-19 variable and the level of trust of the millennial community in Jakarta.
