January 6, 2021, Patna; A successful story made by Medivic Aviation Air Ambulance Service from Patna to Delhi by saving the life of a 26 year old man on last Sunday, and key to success of this aero medical mission was the detailed planning and preparation as well as the patience of skilled & trained doctors & medical staff.

The patient was in critical condition, as he met an accident. His bike was knocked by a truck some weeks earlier, sustaining liver & pulmonary contusion, multiple liver & pelvis fracture & massive soft tissue damage. After transfer to an intensive care in Patna, he was admitted to ICU for better treatment. With the improvement in his condition he was suggested to refer to a hospital in Delhi for next level of treatment. Medivic Aviation Air Ambulance Services from Patna to Delhi started to prepare for the transportation, hospital satisfied that the patient is fit enough to fly. The necessary medical equipment was setup & cabin crew as well as medical team was ready to fly off. The patient remained stable for almost 45 minutes but after that he suddenly developed severe shortage of breath, nausea & vomiting. During transportation these symptoms were very dangerous & worrying as it was the indication of either pulmonary embolism or pneumothorax. Gradually, the oxygen flow was changed & it was increased to maximum level 15L/min. Then after that the oxygen saturation level increased from 73 percent to 94 percent. Then after continuous care of doctors & whole team the condition of patient started coming to the normal state. The patient remained stable for the rest of the journey and after reaching to Delhi, he was taken to hospital by the Road ambulance provided by Medivic Aviation Air Ambulance Services in Delhi.
