TORONTO, April 02, 2022 - Food handler certification has become a mandate to many professions in Ontario including healthcare professions like Personal Support Worker as these jobs require meal preparation for patients. NACPT Pharma College has initiated its first Food handler certification program since December, 2021.

Food Handler Certification is a legal requirement in Canada for many food workers. To comply with provincial laws, it is recommended that anyone who publicly serves food or comes into contact with food must receive food safety training.

Any start-ups or small businesses must do thorough research in Ontario to see whether the Food handler certification is required by the owner or the staff handling products.

“At NACPT you will learn all about food safety, contamination, sanitation, temperature danger zone, and microorganisms along with how to resolve issues, set up precautionary methods and other related regulatory requirements by Toronto Public Health, in compliance with Health Canada.” said Nicholas, Program Coordinator at NACPT Pharma College. “You will complete the Food Handler course and the exam in a single day at NACPT under the guidance of an industry expert.”
