Welcome to Profitable daycare center. If you want to learn how to start a childcare business, then we provide profitable daycare center training to operate a successful daycare and childcare center business.

What I wish I knew before I opened my daycare center.
This week's video blog is a bit different.
I take you back ….15 years back and share what I wish I had know then about running a daycare center that I know now.
Here are my main talking points
1. Having a clear knowledge on budgeting and operating expenses
2. Doing mindset work and crafting out a vision and educational mission statement
3. Not comparing myself to other childcare business owners
4.Creating policy booklets for my staff, business and the educational foundation.
5. Having more confidence to feel good about the things that felt right to me.
6. Learning to delegate, automate and outsource tasks
7. investing in a business coach to help me through the hard times.
Starting a new business is no doubt a very exciting time in any entrepreneurs life! I hope that I can inspire you to operate the childcare business you've envisioned for yourself.
That’s it for me!
See you next week.

How to make sure your childcare center educational program is high quality!
As a childcare business owner, creating your educational foundation will help you decide on so many things when operating your center: budget, hiring, interventions ….
It’s so important to take the time and create an educational program you can be proud of.
GOOD NEWS: EVERYONE IS UNIQUE AND THAT INCLUDES YOUR PHILOSOPHY.
Here are some key ways on making sure you can do that
Before you write your educational booklet:
Do not compare yourself to other centers
Do not copy or buy another philosophy
Take the time to do a mindcheck: values, beliefs, vision, why
Research philosophies, books and thought leaders that you respect
When writing your educational booklet:
Simplify the booklet in sections: do not focus on activities only….
Write your educational mission statement
Interventions and guidance techniques and methods
Other topics that you should include and that do relate to your educational program: nutrition, health, staff, communication…
Clear policies and procedures, easy to read
Make sure a copy is given to all your staff
How does your educational program influence so many things in your childcare business
Hiring staff that fits your team culture
Budgeting: money will flow where your energy goes
Quality of service: kids will feel it and so will your customers
Marketing: once you’re clear on your vision, then you’ll know where and how to find your ideal customers.
