BoAt is on a roll in India, increasing its product lineup even more with the launch of the BoAt Wave Lite smartwatch. The wristwatch, according to the company, supports over 100 watch faces and has a 7-day battery life. The price and availability of the smartwatch have yet to be confirmed, while it has already been marketed on Amazon with a 'Coming Soon' tag.
The specifications of the boAt Wave Lite smartwatch include a 1.69-inch display with a square dial and a peak brightness of 500 nits. This display has a 160-degree viewing angle and a 70-percent RGB colour gamut. The smartwatch is only 44.8 grammes in weight. There's also a rotating crown that users can use to access the menu and browse the user interface.
Other features include over 100 watch faces, a 7-day battery life, and phone-to-watch notification sync for calls, messages, and other social networking apps. It can also be used to control music and the camera, and it can be coupled with the boAt wearable app.
The BoAt Wave Lite also has a heart rate monitor, a SpO2 blood oxygen metre, and sleep mapping capabilities. Running, walking, cycling, football, badminton, basketball, skipping, and swimming are among the sports modes supported. Aside from that, the Wave Lite also includes Google Fit and Apple Health integration.
The BoAt Wave Pro smartwatch was recently introduced in India at a price of Rs 3,199. Given that this is the Lite edition, the pricing should be cheaper than the Pro edition. For all you cricket fanatics out there, the Pro version can display you live cricket scores wherever you are.
Sameer Mehta and Aman Gupta, the creators, sought to build a lifestyle company that dealt with trendy audio concentrated electronics. The boAt company began as a cable producer and marketer and has now grown into a multibillion-dollar conglomerate. The only purpose of the boAt firm was to give millennials with affordable, durable, and, most importantly, "fashionable" audio devices and accessories. In the year 2016, they joined together and laid the groundwork for the company.
The boat company's tagline is "Plug into Nirvana." The term "nirvana" refers to achieving perfect tranquilly and liberation. This was chosen as the tagline by the creators because excellent music allows users to connect with their souls. It also aids in the formation of a barrier between them and the living world.
The expanding trend of audio sets paired with smartphones, according to boAt, might be the company's next growth channel. It has been noticed that practically all of the main phone manufacturers have audio businesses as partners. Apple, for example, sells Beats, Samsung sells Harman and JBL, Huawei sells Sennheiser, and so on. As a result, the company intends to attract more new customers with enticing packaged deals, avoiding the need for users to purchase headphones or earphones separately.
