Finally, consumers have become more and more stringent on the pollution-free requirements of Chunmee Tea.

Tea planting is very common in southern my country. Tea has become a drink that people often drink in life and work. Tea safety is one of the issues that people care about. However, in the process of planting tea, tea farmers are often infested by pests and diseases. How to effectively prevent pests and diseases? Zhenan Green Tea Factory ( https://www.szzhenantea.com/ ) now introduces tea garden pest control techniques to tea farmers based on the pest control problems that are often encountered in tea growing.

1. Tea inchworm

Tea inchworm is also known as archworm, measuring inchworm, inchworm, hanging silkworm. The larvae eat leaves, and the damage is severe during the summer and autumn tea period. In severe cases, the branches can be bald, like a fire, and will recover in two or three years, which will seriously affect the tree vigor and tea production.

Prevention and treatment methods of tea looper:

①Pupal elimination: During the overwintering period of the tea looper, combined with deep ploughing and basal fertilizer application in autumn and winter, clean the pupae in the lower soil of the canopy.

②Catch and kill: According to the habit of larvae to spin and droop after being frightened, put chickens for insect removal or artificially kill them; use light to trap and kill adults during the full bloom period.

③Light trapping: Use insecticidal lights to trap and kill the adult tea looper during emergence period.

④Pharmaceutical control: control when there are more than 10 larvae per meter of tea. The first and second instar larvae are sprayed with biopharmaceuticals such as looper polyhedrosis virus, Bacillus thuringiensis, rotenone, etc., and can also be used for prevention and control of bifenthrin, matrine + cypermethrin or indoxacarb.

2. Black spiny whitefly

Black spiny whitefly is also called orange spiny whitefly. Black spiny whitefly sucks tea tree sap with larvae and excretes it, which causes coal bacteria to parasitise and induce mildew. In severe cases, the tea tree becomes dark. Generally, it occurs more severely in shaded, damp tea gardens, and the density of insect populations in tea gardens in Wofeng Xiangyang depressions is often higher.

Prevention and treatment methods of tea tree black thorn whitefly:

①Protect natural enemies: Minimize the frequency of application of tea gardens and the amount of pesticides to protect and promote the reproduction of natural enemies, and give full play to the control effect of natural enemies;

②Swatches trap: Use yellow swatches to trap adults in the adult stage;

③Pharmaceutical control: the control period is at the end of egg incubation period, and the insect population density is too large. It can also be considered as the auxiliary application period in the adult period. It is advisable to control adult insects by sweeping and spraying with low-volume canopy surface. In the larval stage, lateral spraying is recommended, and the spraying of the liquid medicine is focused on the middle and lower leaves of the tea tree. The first and second instar larval stage uses Weber's spores or black whitefly fungal preparations, and can also be used for prevention and control of Buprofezin.

Finally, consumers have become more and more stringent on the pollution-free requirements of Chunmee Tea ( https://www.szzhenantea.com/product/chunmee-tea/ ). Therefore, it is recommended that tea farmers should focus on agricultural control, biological control, and physical control, supplemented by chemical control.
