Tamang Heritage Trail(https://www.greatnepaltreks.com/tamang-heritage-trail) is a trekking course created in Nepal. This trial is near the capital city of Nepal that I Kathmandu. This trail is located to the north of Kathmandu. It takes approximately 7-8 hours from the capital, Kathmandu to get to the starting point of this Tamang Heritage trek. The trek starts and finishes at the same place that is Syabrubesi. Then the trekkers are provided with the opportunity to know the culture together with the perspective of spectacular all-natural beauties by this trek. The local people of this trekking route largely belong to the Tamang group/community. It's said that the Tamang’s would be the Tibetan people visiting Nepal for settlement in the past. It is believed that the ancestors of the Tamang people of those times that were current were the sect individuals who flew from Tibet to live in Nepal. Then they started staying in Nepal forever and altered their Tibetan caste into Tamang. Customs, Tradition and the culture of the Tamang people residing on this course resembles that of the people living across the Nepal - China border. Lhosar is celebrated by Tamang community individuals living on and near this new trekking road.
The most important religious festivals celebrated by the Tamang’s are Buddha Jayanti, Dashain, and Tihar. They like the festivals by doing a famous dance called'Selo'. The instruments named as'Dhampu' are performed with Tamang community's gents whereas the dancing is performed by women. Trekkers trekking for this trail on this year may enjoy the fun of Selo dance as well as taste variousTamang's cuisine.
In this trek, the trekkers can enjoy an awesome view of Langtang ranges as well since they may enjoy the wonderful scenes of the woods covered with red Rhododendron flowers which are also the national flower of the country. Blooming of the Rhododendron on the hills of this trail makes the hills or the trek more beautiful. The trek is brief and not a cheap trekking course in comparison to other treks as well as hard.
