Concept of backdrop used in photography

A backdrop is an image that can be shown on the stage.

It is similar to a costume, except that it is shown on the stage instead. They are located in the backdrops library. Portrait backdrops are edited in the Paint Editor. They are found in the backdrops tab in the stage. New backdrops can be chosen from the library, painted, uploaded, or chosen as a surprise. When a new backdrop is painted, one can change the color, the size of the brush, or one can use the paint bucket tool to fill in lots of space.

Here are some advantages to using a studio backdrop for our photography:

1. Long Lasting
A quality Valentine’s Day backdrop can give many years of service, especially if well cared for. Our solid canvas backdrops are made with three, heavy layers of canvas, black-out cloth, and vinyl. This type of durability affords a long-term backdrop solution for any studio.

2. Color Variety
Solid-color backgrounds make for clutter-free images. Since they have no patterns, solid-color backdrops can be helpful if we do photo composites. White seamless paper can be great for this, and won’t leave a green colorcast like a chroma-key background can sometimes do.

3. Uniformity
If we do a lot of corporate portraits or headshot images, a professional studio backdrop can create a look that is consistent and repeatable. Our canvas backdrops are ideal for sophisticated portraits since they provide a classic and opulent scene.

4. Versatility
Seamless paper backdrops are available in many colors, and if they get dirty you can cut off the bad part and start over. Patterned backdrops such as painted Muslin or Canvas, or Floor Drops replicating wood or brick, can offer a great substitute if we don’t have access to, or if weather prevents, shooting the “real thing.”

One can also create shapes such as squares and circles using Whosedrop. When one chooses a backdrop one can pick from 85 different backdrops. One can also edit those backdrops and draw on them. While there are many inexpensive substitutes to a studio backdrop like that of child backdrop such as a bed sheet or plain wall.
