Our Pacemaker and Defibrillator Center
A pacemaker is a small implanted device that helps monitor irregular heart rhythms. It is placed in the chest or stomach. Electrical pulses are used to encourage the heart to operate normally. A pacemaker is a device that helps to correct electrical irregularities that can occur as a result of aging or other physiological circumstances.
A defibrillator is an implantable device that can do cardioversion, defibrillation, and cardiac pacing. This device is commonly used to diagnose life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias. Our Pacemaker and Defibrillator Clinic ensures that your device is tested periodically to identify that it is in perfect condition.
Outpatient Heart Failure Clinic
When our people are diagnosed with an extreme heart failure recurrence, the Tampa Heart Center offers services 24-72 hours after they are discharged from the hospital. On a particular scenario approach, we also give emergency intravenous diuretic therapy in our clinic. We aim to provide protocol medical care to our patients to assists them to avoid hospital re-admission by informing them and their families on the essential lifestyle modifications.
Our clinic is run by a registered nurse. For eligible patients, we also offer online CHF screening.
